The Water Sanctum

Welcome to the Water Sanctum.

In this chapter of Breaking a Warlord, we finally leave the war camp and enter the domain of the Water Sanctum. Mulsae and Damion fly across the sanctum and to the great canyon which is rich with life from villages and boats.

Mulsae’s home, Veilstone Manor, is equal parts fortress and palace. It is Damion's new cage. It is beautiful, but still a cage.

As the atmosphere shifts from public spectacle to private ritual, Damion begins to sense the deeper layers of his captivity. Everything here is slower, quieter... but no less calculated.
